While the Farm Bill won’t be reauthorized until 2018, Northwest lawmakers say now is the time to discuss what that updated Bill will look like.  Eastern Washington Representative Cathy McMorris Rodgers said it’s important discussions start now, to ensure Northwest interests are represented.

“These discussions are going to be on the forefront and how it impacts wheat and our wheat industry, specifically the opportunities we will have in the Farm Bill to address Falling Numbers.”

McMorris Rodgers said as the Congress gets down to the business at hand, the Farm Bill will be a top priority for many in D.C.
