Last week, House Ag Chairman Mike Conaway announced two more Farm Bill listening sessions would take place in the coming weeks, one in Illinois and the other in Texas.  But, will a listening session come to the Northwest?

Representative Dan Newhouse recently said he and Cathy McMorris Rodgers continue to work to get a session in the Evergreen State.

“We’re still in conversation with the chairman to have some kind of presence there by the ag committee in the state of Washington.  So, no decision yet on when, but we’re still working on that.”

The number of listening session for the 2018 Farm Bill have not been announced.
