DNR Land in Pasco to Be Auctioned Off

The Washington State Department of Natural Resources has approved the sale of more than 230 acres in Pasco, currently unused farmland, at auction November 17^th.

The land has been zoned residential and will be sold in five separate parcels valued at more than $5.5 million in total.

DNR will use the money from the auction to purchase farmland in another area of the state.

The department rents farmland to drive revenue that can be used to build public schools.
