Diesel prices edged down slightly, as oil prices moved up in the past week.  WTI is trading slightly north of $56 a barrel.  Much of that increase is due to continued tension between Iran, the U.S. and the rest of the world.  That increased oil price really not having much of an impact on diesel prices.

The national average for a gallon of diesel dropped one cent to $2.99, Washington’s average moved lower by a penny to $3.29, while Oregon’s rate held steady this week at $3.18.

As far as the lowest prices we could find locally:

  • $3.02 a gallon in the Tri-Cities
  • $3.09 a gallon in Wenatchee
  • $3.24 a gallon in Ephrata
  • $3.24 a gallon in Moses Lake
  • $2.89 a gallon in Pendleton
  • $3.21 a gallon in Walla Walla
  • $3.39 a gallon in Yakima
