The USDA announced this week that the 2nd Annual Virtual Food Loss and Waste Innovation Fair will take place Wednesday, September 14th.  USDA Food Loss and Waste Liaison Jean Buzby says next month’s event will build on what took place during last year’s inaugural event, by highlighting, “the successes from our research and hopefully the breadth of what we do at USDA in terms of the different agency activities to reduce food waste.”

The virtual fair itself will features exhibits on USDA and EPA U.S. Food Loss and Waste 2030 champions.  The Fair is free and open to the public, starting at 7 a.m. Pacific.

Visit the USDA's Website to learn more about the Fair or to register.
