Could the United States return to the TPP?  We haven't heard much on the subject since mid-April when President Trump said.

"I don't want to go back into TPP, but if they offered us a deal that I can't refuse on behalf of the United States, I would do it," President Trump said this on April 18th.

Since then, the President has asked the U.S. Trade Representative's Office to look into returning to the multilateral trade deal.  Earlier this week, Ag Secretary Sonny Perdue said..

"I think, frankly, it's a matter of workload right now, with NAFTA and the negotiations with China,” said Ag Secretary Sonny Perdue.  “I'm hopeful that the President will let us look and see how we can maybe redesign or review our interest in TPP, where he could feel we could join and have a good deal for the farmer and rancher."

President Trump pulled the U.S. out of the then 12 country deal during his first week in office in 2017.
