The USDA says cash rent for cropland in Washington increased this year to $203 per acre.  That’s up $5.00 from the 2017 rate.  Irrigated cropland in Washington, moved up $8.00 an acre in the past year to $358.  Meanwhile, non-irrigated crop land rental came in at $75.00 per acre, up $2.00 from 2017.

 

In Oregon producers paid $159 per acre for cropland, up $7.00 year over year.  Irrigated land cost an estimated $215 per acre, up $10.00 from last year.

 

Cash rent expense for all cropland in Idaho came in at $160 per acre for 2018, unchanged from last year.  Irrigated cropland is estimated at $216 per acre, up $1.00 per acre from 2017.  Non-irrigated cropland rental expense is $56.00 per acre, down $2.00 per acre from last year.
