Leif hails from the Western Dakotas where he grew up farming and ranching, raising cattle and sheep, and growing dry-land wheat. He started his radio career in high school at the local radio station in Lemmon, SD, and attended Minot State University in Minot, ND, getting his degree in Broadcast Production. Leif has been an agriculture broadcaster for five years with two other entities before arriving at the PNW Ag Network.
