ARC – PLC Enrollment Now Underway

Producers can now enroll in one of the Farm Bill’s corner stone safety net programs, Agriculture Risk Coverage and Price Loss Coverage.

“Producers will be able to submit applications to our Farm Service Agency Service Center offices or county offices for ARC and PLC  for the 2025 crop year through April the 15th," said Farm Service Agency Assistant Deputy Administrator Kimberly Graham.  She added options include ARC-County or PLC-County to provide coverage of crop-by-crop production or ARC-Individual to protect the entire farm.  Producers can elect the type of coverage for this year but must enroll through a signed contract annually.

“ARC and PLC elections enrollment can impact eligibility for some cropping going products, including the supplemental coverage options. The enhanced coverage option and for cotton producers, the stacked income protection plan.”
