Yakima Valley College Hosting Wine Competition

The 34^th annual Washington State Wine Competition will be taking place Tuesday, June 20^th at the Grandview campus of Yakima Valley College.

Originally operated in conjunction with the Central Washington State Fair, the event is now managed by Great Northwest Wine and raises money for the next generation of winemakers with scholarships to YVC, WSU, Walla Walla Community College and South Seattle Community College.

The contest will feature more than 200 wineries, including five from YVC, to be judged by 12 different people involved in the industry in a wide variety of ways.
