This is National Agriculture Week, and Thursday is National Ag Day.  Events are scheduled throughout the nation to raise awareness about the importance of farm, food, and fiber in every day life.  In Washington, D.C., the National Press Club hosts national Ag Day events including a youth panel discussion moderated by agriculture undersecretary Steven Senske, and a newsmaker panel discussing challenges and opportunities in the current foreign trade climate.

Among the panelists, USDA Undersecretary for trade and foreign agricultural affairs Ted McKinney.

"We are in a time where we are revisiting free, fair, and reciprocal trade,"McKinney said.
