President Trump spoke at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, IA and covered a wide variety of topics while also getting an opportunity to see education and technology being used to shape agriculture’s future.

“Here at this great facility, we’ve just seen fantastic examples of how vocational training in new technologies can help make American farming even more productive, so we can compete and win on the world stage.”

The President said he wants to reduce regulation, invest in corn-based ethanol biofuels and help update rural America.

“That is why I will be including a provision in our infrastructure proposal to promote, foster and enhance broadband access for rural America also.”

President Trump said it’s critical that for farmers to compete, they need that high-speed internet access.
