Senate Confirms Three Key USDA Nominees

Last week, the Senate confirmed three nominees for positions at USDA.  These nominees were included as part of a package of 48 subcabinet level nominees, all of whom received bipartisan support when they were considered by their respective committees.

The three USDA nominees include:

• Richard Fordyce to serve as the Under Secretary for Farm Production and Conservation
• Dudley Hoskins to serve as the Under Secretary for Marketing and Regulatory Programs
• Scott Hutchins to serve as the Under Secretary of Agriculture for Research, Education, and Economics.
