Polish Protests Against T-TIP, Other Trade Deals
Hundreds of protesters took to the streets of Warsaw Saturday speaking out against the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership, or T-TIP.
The protesters argue that T-TIP and other trade deals will hurt Polish farmers and consumers by allowing imports of food that would destroy the country’s ag industry and would also include genetically modified food.
The EU could sign another trade deal, the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement, with Canada by the end of this month.
