Perdue Talks Trade with UK

Ag Secretary Sonny Perdue spent some time in Great Britain prior to attending the G7 Food and Agriculture summit in Italy.

With England leaving the European Union, Perdue said there could be great opportunities for U.S.-U.K relations.

“We want to come out with a strong, sovereign U.K. and a strong U.S. and an even stronger U.S./U.K. relationship.”

There is speculation that Britain could attempt to be a part of NAFTA if they are not able to work out trade agreements with the E.U. after Brexit is complete.
