Holtzinger Fruit, a company that worked primarily with independent growers, has rebranded themselves as Fourth Leaf Fruit Company after more than 100 years after the Holtzinger name.

The new name reflects the time in apple development where a tree often begins to yield significant fruit.

President and Chief Grower David Henze said it’s more than just a name change, “This is part of a bold new vision and support for our grower-first mission.”

According to a Facebook post on the company’s website, Fourth Leaf will continue to market fruit under the well-known Royal Purple, Regal Red and Adolfo’s Organic labels.
