WSU is hosting two workshops on high resident farming December 12th in Moses Lake and the 13th at WSU Tri-Cities in Richland.

High Residue Farming refers to cropping system where tilling is kept to a minimum or a no-till system is used to maintain residue cover on the soil.

The 3-hour workshop will discuss the benefits, conditions for stand establishment, residue management, direct seeding with a planter or drill and strip-till systems.

Pre-registration is required and can be done online or by check. You can do so at the event website.
