"We now have another 55 partners, for a total of 145 partners," said USDA head Tom Vilsack. "We added a new sprint initiative, as a result of the ministerial meeting.  IBM is providing up to $10 million over the course of the next several years to work with non-profits to provide assistance and help to producers in India and Latin America to become more efficient and more profitable and to embrace climate smart opportunities."

Vilsack added that four areas of focus will take place for AIM for Climate in 2022.

"The United States will host, next year, an AIM for Climate summit which will be not just a ministerial, where ministers from countries come, but also allow all of our partners to participate in the meeting.  So, a good opportunity for us to lift this up."
