Agriculture groups, along with Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue applauded President Donald Trump’s nomination of Steve Censky as Deputy Agriculture Secretary.  The nomination was rumored for months.  Censky grew up on a soybean, corn and livestock farm in Minnesota.  Secretary Perdue said Censky will “bring enthusiasm and a dedication” to the Department of Agriculture, adding that he is hopeful the Senate will quickly consider the nomination.

President Trump last week also nominated Rostin Behnam to be a commissioner of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. if confirmed, he will fulfill a term expiring June 19, 2021.
