So far, three Washington residents have been sickened in an outbreak of E.coli linked to a recently expanded recall of General Mills flour.  On Friday, General Mills recalled an additional 20 million pounds of Gold Medal and other brands of flour.  Initially, 10 million pounds of flour was recalled back on June 1st.

At last count, 42 people in 21 states have been sickened after eating the flour.  11 people have been hospitalized.

No deaths have been reported.

In light of the recall, the CDC is warning consumers to refrain from consuming any raw products made with flour.
