Don York is a veteran and award winning farm broadcaster who has reported on agricultural issues in western states for more than 30-years. He began his broadcast career in Sacramento, California as an intern at a news talk radio station. Don reported in New Mexico for two television stations where he won several journalism awards. In 1995 Don helped launch a television farm newscast in Fresno, California. He later moved back into radio and was recently honored by the Fresno County Farm Bureau for excellence in Journalism. Don is married and has a daughter and grandson. Studying military history, working on vintage cars and volunteering for various non-profit groups are among the things Don enjoys doing when not reporting on agriculture stories.
