The Washington Apple Education Foundation has surpassed $1 million in donations for the scholarship program in 2016.   Executive Director Jennifer Witherbee called the total exciting.   “This means that there are more students from our communities able to attend college with increased support from members of the industry that believe in their potential and want to invest in their future success.”

The deadline for scholarships through the Washington Apple Education Foundation has passed, but it looks like there could be more distributions this year than last.   WAEF says the number of applicants increased by 45 percent compared to last year.  ...
