No matter if your role is a producer driving a combine, a driver hauling grain to the local elevators, or a motorist on country roads surrounded by farmland, safety needs to be kept in mind.
With harvest in full effect for many commodities across the Pacific Northwest, the Oregon Farm Bureau is asking drivers to keep their eyes peeled as farmers and to share the roadway. Oregon Farm Bureau’s Anne Marie Moss, said drivers should proceed with caution, courtesy and patience when behind slow moving, large equipment.

And with all of that activity taking place in farm country, motorists are asked to watch for farm equipment sharing the roadway from time to time.
