Oregon Republican Congressman Cliff Bentz said changes to Medicaid will impact fewer Oregonians than Democrats claim.

Rural health providers in Oregon will benefit this year from a $197 million federal grant. Clare Pierce-Wrobel, with the Oregon Health Authority, said the first phase of awards will go to what she calls “shovel-ready” projects.
