Chelan County is getting nearly $770,000 to complete the study to relocate the Peshastin Creek with its historic floodplain near U.S. Hwy 97 north of Blewett Pass.
It's part of an ongoing project to keep the forest healthy by removing tree limbs, logs, and other forest debris that could potentially feed a wildfire.
